The Pittsburgh Penguins began their 2008-09 season overseas in Stockholm, Sweden, where they played two games against the Ottawa Senators. After scoring the first goal of the game, Tyler Kennedy sealed the victory by netting the overtime winner, earning the Penguins two points in the contest. Kennedy caused a turnover at the Penguins' blue line and transitioned up ice with the puck. As he reached the top of the faceoff circle, Kennedy unleashed a wrist shot that beat the goaltender.
