In his NHL debut, 2024 first overall pick Macklin Celebrini scored his first career goal in front of the home San Jose crowd. As he crossed the blue line, Celebrini received a pass and initially looked to dish it to the middle. Instead, he spun back to his backhand and sent the puck towards the slot, where it deflected off a defender’s skate and into the net.
