During the 1995 Stanley Cup Final, the smooth-skating Scott Niedermayer scores a huge tying goal in Game 2 versus the Detroit Red Wings. Down 2-1 with just over ten minutes remaining in the third period, Niedermayer goes end-to-end skating swiftly through the Detroit players before he pulls up near the top of the circles to send a wrister that goes wide. Bouncing off the boards, the puck kicks back out to the front where Niedermayer follows up to bank it home. The goal on the road tied the game and propelled New Jersey to a victory for a 2-0 series lead. The Devils would later clinch the series at home with a 4-0 sweep for their first ever Stanley Cup.
