In the final game of the season, rookie defenseman Zayne Parekh made a memorable NHL debut with the Calgary Flames. After dishing a pass to Mikael Backlund, Parekh drove toward the net while Backlund cycled up to the blue line. Backlund fired a shot that Parekh skillfully redirected into the net, earning his first NHL goal.
