In Game 2 of the 2014 Stanley Cup Final, with Los Angeles leading the series, the contest stretched into double overtime. As the Kings applied pressure deep in the offensive zone, Anze Kopitar fed the puck back to Willie Mitchell, who fired a shot toward the net. Positioned in the slot, Dustin Brown deflected the puck past the goalie, securing the win. Three games later, the Kings captured their second Stanley Cup in three years. Brown's lone overtime playoff goal was a highlight in his remarkable 18-season career with the Kings, culminating in his No. 23 jersey being retired and raised to the rafters.
