Charging down the middle of the ice, Dylan Strome took a crisp feed from Anthony Beauvillier and wasted no time redirecting it on goal. Though the initial shot was turned aside, Strome stayed with the play, quickly tapping the rebound in on his backhand for the eventual game-winning goal. Building on a career-high 82-point regular season that led the team, Strome carried his momentum into the playoffs, notching nine points in the First Round—once again pacing all Capitals players.
