Making his NHL debut, Connor Zary scored his first goal in the opening period of the game. As the puck was transitioned up high, Zary made a dash down the back-door lane towards the net. A shot was subsequently directed at the net and the puck contacted Zary on its way, then descended to the ice, where he promptly slammed it into the net.
