The association between McLaren Racing and Gulf began back in the late 1960s, during the era of our team founder Bruce McLaren. The Gulf Oil livery is one of the most recognisable and beloved liveries in all of motorsport, and this car marks our tribute to its timeless design and the historic racing connection between McLaren and Gulf. The celebrated livery was matched by the strong on-track performance of the team, with Lando Norris coming home third to secure McLaren’s 490th podium in Formula 1.
