In Game 2 of the Second Round, Vincent Trocheck scored the game-winning goal in the second overtime, propelling the New York Rangers to a 2-0 series lead over Carolina. During a power play, Artemi Panarin unleashed a shot that was blocked, which redirected right to Mika Zibanejad. Zibanejad quickly fired it toward the net, and the puck was knocked down right in front, where Trocheck slammed it home, igniting the Rangers crowd.
